Treasury Operations Associate
We are currently supporting a confidential International Fund based in Abu Dhabi in hiring a Treasury Operations Associate to join their growing treasury team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 3–5 years of experience in treasury operations, cash management, or corporate finance who's looking to take the next step in their career. The role offers exposure to global cash management, liquidity, and banking operations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
The Role
You'll be responsible for managing daily cash positioning, executing payments, supporting liquidity and funding processes, and helping to enhance treasury controls and automation. The successful candidate will play a key part in improving operational efficiency across the treasury function while working closely with finance, accounting, and risk teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily cash positions, including bank reconciliations and short-term forecasting
- Execute payments, intercompany transfers, and FX settlements
- Monitor liquidity and support funding requirements across multiple entities
- Assist with month-end reporting, cash flow forecasting, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintain and improve treasury processes and controls
- Support banking relationships and account management
- Contribute to ongoing system and process improvement initiatives
The Ideal Candidate
- 3–5 years' experience in treasury operations, banking, or corporate finance
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
- Strong working knowledge of Excel; exposure to TMS or ERP systems (e.g., Kyriba, SAP, NetSuite)
- Solid understanding of payments, liquidity, and FX processes
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment
- Strong communicator with a collaborative mindset
