Right at Home Swindon is recruiting an Induction and Training Coordinator to support the growth of our care team and ensure every new Care Assistant receives a positive, structured and high-quality onboarding experience.
We are a leading homecare provider delivering premium, person-centred support to older adults, individuals living with dementia and vulnerable people across the community. This role is central to maintaining our high standards and ensuring our teams feel confident, welcomed and well-trained from day one.
About the role
The Induction and Training Coordinator will take ownership of the full onboarding process, deliver engaging induction training, monitor Care Certificate progress and maintain full compliance across staff files. You will also mentor new starters through their first 12 weeks and support ongoing development through additional training and qualifications.
Key responsibilities
• Deliver induction training and assess Care Certificate competencies
• Arrange and record refresher and additional training as needed
• Maintain full onboarding compliance and staff documentation
• Verify identification and process Enhanced DBS applications
• Work closely with the Registered Manager on training needs
• Mentor new employees during their first 12 weeks
• Promote further qualifications such as QCF Level 2 and 3
• Participate in the on-call rota
Person specification
Qualifications and experience
• Experience working in the care sector
• Strong communication, IT and organisational skills
• Train the Trainer (Moving and Handling/Medication) desirable
• AET or equivalent also desirable
• GCSE Maths and English Grade C/Level 4 or above
• Customer-facing experience

• Able to build strong working relationships
• Confident delivering training to different learning styles
• Able to work independently and use initiative
• Strong administrative and record-keeping skills
• Confident in managing challenging or complex situations
