An interesting role involving all Technical aspects of the company

To work within the technical team for EOGB, Sapphire, Baltur and other associated product lines and services and work closely with other team members to achieve a common goal. To be aware of your responsibilities within the current quality system and working with your colleagues to continually improve it.

Main Duties

  • To correctly follow all relevant Quality procedures
  • Provide full technical support for all products via technical support line and email
  • Arrange external site visits for service and commissioning requirements
  • Increase our current agent members to cover UK
  • Work closely with R&D manager to ensure all technical aspects of the products are in place and accounted for
  • Work with Technical Director and other members of team to create department budgets
  • Keeping up to date with industry via CPD opportunities and being aware of relevant standards that must be observed
  • Assist Technical director and attend industry meetings when required
  • Assist production department for specialist burner modifications
  • Assist in R&D department

Other duties

  • Provide staff training and act as mentor to technical team members
  • Ensuring department qualifications are kept up to date
  • Liaising with suppliers and customers
  • Competitor research to ensure EOGB are offering the best service
  • Keeping up to date with industry via CPD opportunities and being aware of relevant standards that must be observed

Job Details

Hours of work: 37.5 Hrs/wk

Holiday allowance: As per contract

Location:

St Neots Office, Occasional Work from home

Travel Requirements:

Whole of UK travel and abroad when required
