About the
Business Development Manager – Broker/ Introducer focused

My client is a fast growth fintech lender trading in the UK since 2022. After a successful product launch with their innovative working capital solution enabling businesses to take control of their cash flow – They have over £100M UK lending book & this is set to double after £50M investment earlier in 2025

They have a brilliant reputation amongst brokers with 80% of the lending book coming from the introducer channel. We are now looking for Broker BDM to support the current 1 team member in managing broker panel, acquiring new brokers & generating high lending volumes from the current panel.

Responsibilities and duties
will include:

  • Building relationships with current introducer panel to ensure your products are 1st in their mind when they are working with their SME Business customers
  • Represent the brand in the industry – Goal is to bring new introducers on board
  • Reach out to ' Tier 2' introducers on the panel with the goal of increasing lending volumes
  • Build rapport, educate the partner on our appetite and the type of lending we like to see
  • Work with the introducers to ensure full case is submitted into underwriting to ensure quick turn around & lending approval

Essential Skills and Competencies

  • SME Lending knowledge – Either from a Brokerage or Lender
  • Proven success in a start up / scale up organisation
  • Previous experience building professional relationships
  • Analytical mindset – Ability to analyse what a good deal looks like
