Registered Nurse – Lung Cancer Screening Programme

Location: North East London – Covering RM13 9YZ, E14 3BT

Salary: £38,000 – £42,000 + £4,200 Car Allowance

Travel: Full UK Driving Licence Required

Shifts: 12-hour patterns, 3 days a week (8am–8pm), including weekends and bank holidays

Join InHealth's Lung Cancer Screening Programme and play a vital role in the early detection of lung cancer and other lung diseases. As a Registered Nurse, you'll be at the forefront of delivering high-quality, patient-centred care across our mobile screening sites in North East London.

What you'll do:
  • Deliver both virtual and face-to-face nurse-led clinics, assessing patients against risk criteria
  • Refer high-risk patients for Low-Dose CT scans (IRMER accreditation provided)
  • Provide expert respiratory assessments and smoking cessation advice
  • Promote health education as part of the screening process
  • Identify and act on safeguarding concerns and medical emergencies
  • Support the Team Lead with clinical administration and programme coordination
  • Work autonomously while collaborating with the wider screening team
  • Maintain ARTP accreditation (where required) to deliver spirometry
What we're looking for:
  • First-level Registered Nurse with NMC registration
  • Minimum 2 years' experience at Band 5 level in respiratory nursing
  • Evidence of ongoing professional and personal development
  • Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, and listening
  • Strong IT skills and confidence using multiple software systems
  • A flexible, proactive approach and ability to work independently
  • Willingness to undertake further training to meet service needs
  • A clean UK driving licence and willingness to travel across sites
