Balfour Beatty is seeking an organised and proactive Project Administrator to support our HS2 delivery team in Leamington Spa. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key supporting role on a nationally significant programme, helping ensure the smooth and efficient running of project operations.
As a Project Administrator, you will provide essential administrative and coordination support to the project team. You'll assist with documentation, reporting, office organisation, and communication across stakeholders, helping maintain high standards of compliance, accuracy, and project governance.
What you'll be doing
As a Project Administrator you will:
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HS2 project team.
- Prepare documents, reports, meeting minutes, and project records.
- Manage inboxes, calendars, scheduling, and coordination of internal and external meetings.
- Assist with onboarding processes, training records, and project compliance documentation.
- Support the maintenance of project databases, trackers, and filing systems.
- Liaise with internal teams, subcontractors, and site personnel to ensure effective communication.
- Uphold strong organisational, confidentiality, and data management standards.
Who we're looking for
You will have the following:
- Strong administrative or project support experience, ideally within construction or engineering (preferred but not essential).
- Excellent communication, organisation, and multitasking skills.
- Confident working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Detail-focused with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A proactive approach and willingness to support a busy, fast-paced project environment.
