The Company:
Davies Crane Ltd is one of the largest independent Crane Hire Companies in Wales with a varied fleet in excess of 100 vehicles. Established in 1979, we continue to grow through our reputation and 'can do' attitude. We now have a vacancy for a Administrative Assistant to work out of our Port Talbot depot.
Requirements:
It is essential that you are able to demonstrate the skills below:
· Exceptional communication skills.
· Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail.
· Accuracy and precision in your work.
· Microsoft Office knowledge.
· Ability to give and receive instruction.
· Problem solving.
· Able to perform under pressure.
· Office / Business administration experience.
· Hire / Logistics knowledge desirable but not essential.
Responsibilities:
· Producing quotations and processing orders.
· Inputting hires onto computer systems and processing related paperwork.
· Raising orders to suppliers and monitoring hired in plant and equipment.
· Provide asset information for the cranes and personnel when required.
· Developing and maintaining knowledge of the equipment for hire.
· Conducting additional ad-hoc duties as required.
· Supporting the Depot Manager in the day to day running of the depot.
· Following all company procedures and policies.
Monday to Friday. 9.00am - 5:00pm.
Note: Additional hours may occasionally be required for holiday cover.
Ability to commute to Port Talbot SA13 1RH
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From £25,000.00 per year
