Start Date: As soon as possible (Candidates with up to 1 month notice period will be considered)

Contract Type: Temp-to-Perm or Permanent

They foster a friendly, collaborative, and supportive working environment that values work-life balance, professional development, and long-term growth. The culture is known for being approachable and focused on staff wellbeing.

The Opportunity

The client is currently seeking paralegals, with plans to grow the team due to increasing caseloads. These are intended to be permanent positions, but suitable candidates may initially be offered a three-month temporary contract with a view to transitioning to permanent roles.

This opportunity is ideal for experienced litigation paralegals who are confident managing files independently and who want to work within a supportive, well-structured legal team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently manage litigation and pre-litigation tasks such as letters before action, filling claim forms, dealing with settlements, etc.
  • Meet deadlines and independently prioritise workload
  • Collaborate with colleagues, providing support where needed
  • Communicate with clients via email and phone, handling inquiries and complaints
  • Demonstrate accountability and responsibility for caseloads

Reporting Line

You will report directly to the Senior Solicitor and Practice Manager of the relevant division.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a growing team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred:

  • Experience in personal injury, insurance, or bulk claim management
  • Experience in high-volume environments managing large caseloads
  • Familiarity with debt recovery processes or education sector claims

Development and Progression

The client is committed to training and development, and in the past they offered pathways to further qualifications such as apprenticeships or SQE training for those interested in progressing their legal careers.

They also support continuous professional development through webinars, courses, and relevant training, and are happy to discuss any specific development opportunities candidates wish to explore.
