The successful Estimating Manager will be responsible for:
  • Managing the preparation of competitive tenders and proposals for projects across multiple sectors.
  • Overseeing and improving estimating processes to ensure compliance with company standards and best practices.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of estimators, ensuring accuracy and professional development.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Producing accurate estimates for complex and high-value projects.
  • Conducting peer reviews and commercial assessments of tenders.
  • Keeping up to date with technical advancements and providing best-practice advice.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for clients during tendering stages.
The successful Estimating Manager will have:
  • Proven experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator within construction, modular buildings, or engineering sectors.
  • Strong understanding of tender management and estimating processes.
  • Exceptional client engagement and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities, work to deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Experience leading teams and fostering professional development.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
