The Public Health Nursing service within Sirona care & health CIC is excited to be able to offer two opportunities to join our Health Visiting Clinical Leads team.  We have available: 

  • A 12 month secondment within the Inner City & East Locality of Bristol (30 hours per week)
  • A substantive post within the South Gloucestershire locality (27 hours per week) 

Our Public Health Nursing service is central to delivering public health outcomes for children, young people and their families across the Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire areas (BNSSG).

Using your leadership and management skills as part of our Public Health Nursing 0-19 Clinical Leads team you will ensure that the service supports and empowers children, young people, families, and communities to make decisions that will positively affect their future health and well-being.

As our Clinical Lead, you will: 

Provide inspiring and innovative leadership: high quality line management and leadership for skill mixed teams including pre and post registration student during their placements, providing supervision, supporting staff wellbeing and influencing and shaping a compassionate team culture.

Take a 'Think Family' approach to service delivery.

Support the implementation of the Healthy Child Programme and specific Public Health Nursing programmes such as MECSH (Maternal Early Childhood Sustained Home-Visiting) and UNICEF BFI.

Work in partnership with local communities, services, and partners to ensure place-based service delivery is responsive to need and local priorities and that our service is accessible, culturally sensitive and safe.

Support the Locality Lead and working in partnership with operational leads to deliver contractual service requirements: local performance activity, audits and service improvement, including ensuring team members are supported to contribute and their voices are represented.
