Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Assembly Technician to join our R&D team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling battery components and products efficiently and accurately, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained throughout the process. Responsibilities
- Assemble products and components according to detailed specifications and diagrams
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete assembly tasks safely and effectively
- Conduct quality checks during and after assembly to ensure product standards are met
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace to promote safety and efficiency
- Follow safety protocols at all times, adhering to company policies and procedures
- Assist with inventory management by tracking parts and materials used during assembly
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
Qualifications
- Proven experience in assembly work, preferably within a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Mechanical knowledge is highly desirable, with an understanding of basic machinery and components
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Experience with assembly processes, including reading technical drawings or diagrams
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards are essential for success in this role
