The Role

- This is a part time position, working 17.5 hours per week. The earliest shift will start from 09:00am, and the latest shift will finish at 20:00pm.
. This position is required to cover a 4-week roster. For 2 weeks, you will be working 2 days and the following 2 weeks you will be working 3 days, with 1 weekend included in the 4 weeks.

Key ResponsibilitiesThe Role
In this role, as a Welcome Host, you'll be the friendly face of Greater Anglia, delivering effective customer service while helping passengers travel smoothly and safely.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Create a welcoming environment while providing proactive assistance to customers on and off trains.
Handle all matters related to safety, security, cash regulations, and maintenance of ticket machines.
Carry out winter precautions in accordance with station arrangements.
Maintain security at the station.
Perform station cleaning to uphold the appearance of the station.
Conduct security checks as part of the Station Security Plans (SSP), with varying frequencies based on the station (every 30 minutes to twice a day).
Look for left items, ensure waste bins are secured, and confirm that doors are shut and/or locked during security checks.
