This post is also ideal for an outstanding Performing Arts specialist confident across Dance and Drama (and ideally experienced in production work) who can also deliver high-quality lessons in Art and Photography.

Create Education is supporting a forward-thinking and inclusive school in Croydon who are seeking a Head of Faculty for Dance, Drama & Art. This is a high-impact leadership position, ideal for a strong Art/Photography teacher looking to progress.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the strategic development of Dance, Drama and Art
  • Teach high-quality and inspiring lessons in Art and Photography
  • Oversee all creative performances across the school including productions, showcases and exhibitions
  • Drive standards, support staff and shape an exciting, ambitious creative curriculum

The school has excellent specialist facilities, a collaborative leadership team and a deep commitment to the arts. Creativity is central to school life, and the new Head of Faculty will play a key role in shaping that vision.

You must:

  • Hold QTS (essential – no unqualified applicants)
  • Be an experienced teacher of Art (Photography experience essential)
  • Have the leadership ability to guide and develop a multi-disciplinary creative faculty
  • Bring energy, innovation and a passion for inclusive, high-quality arts education
  • Be confident leading creative events, performances and whole-school arts pportunities
