Overview

Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
  • Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and smooth operations during busy periods.
  • Manage time effectively to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines while working in a fast-paced environment.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
  • Familiarity with food safety practices and basic kitchen operations is advantageous.
  • Strong guest services skills with the ability to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere for patrons.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively.
