We are seeking a friendly and organised Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role is crucial in ensuring a smooth operation within the practice and enhancing patient experience.

Dental Experience is preferred but not essential.

Duties

  • Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures.
  • Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations effectively.
  • Handle patient inquiries via phone, email, and in person with professionalism.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and update information as necessary.
  • Process billing and insurance claims, ensuring compliance with relevant policies.
  • Coordinate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow throughout the day.
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area, ensuring all materials are up to date.
  • Assist with general office duties such as filing, data entry, and inventory management.

Skills

  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in office software applications and administrative tasks.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
  • Previous experience in a dental or healthcare setting is advantageous but not essential.
  • A friendly demeanour and a passion for providing excellent customer service.
