Digital Marketing Executive

CDA are currently recruiting a Digital Marketing Executive to join our exciting and fast-moving agency based in Hitchin, Hertfordshire.

CDA exists to make digital, human. We're a full-service digital agency specialising in eCommerce, websites and software development, and digital marketing. We value simplicity, avoiding complexity and jargon.

As part of the marketing team, you will manage social media and digital marketing campaigns for multiple clients as well as CDA. The role spans a variety of platforms and tools, requiring creativity, organisation, and a keen interest in all things digital.

Duties

• Researching, planning, and implementing digital marketing strategies for clients and CDA.
• Creating and scheduling social media posts, including image and video assets.
• Supporting with email marketing campaigns using platforms such as Mailchimp and Klaviyo.
• Assisting with paid advertising campaigns, particularly on Meta platforms.
• Writing content for client websites, including site pages and blog articles.
• Updating websites for clients and CDA through CMS platforms such as WordPress.
• Attending exhibitions and other events to support new business development for CDA.

Skills

• Comfortable posting and interacting across multiple social platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter) and TikTok.
• Knowledge of the social media and digital marketing landscape.
• A track record in creating engaging content in line with a content calendar.
• Understanding or experience in blog and website content writing.
• Awareness of emerging trends and new opportunities.
• Knowledge or interest in Meta advertising (Facebook/Instagram Ads).
• Awareness of or hands-on experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp and Klaviyo.
• Comfortable communicating with clients to establish content and devise strategies.
• A self-starter with good attention to detail, highly organised, and able to manage multiple clients.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong PC/IT skills including MS Office.
• Experience with content creation tools such as Canva, HubSpot, and Adobe Suite is desirable.
• Strong organisational skills – the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and clients is a must.
• Willingness to learn with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Comfortable in front of the camera (filming content for CDA social media, TikTok, Instagram)
• Agency background an advantage.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience.

Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
