An excellent opportunity for a dedicated Housekeeper to join an energetic team. The ideal candidate will be meticulous, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
The role is based in a large flat at the top of a six-floor building, which also houses offices. The Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining the residence and the building to a five-star hotel standard. The family visits the property 5–6 times per year, and due to the presence of antiques, good product knowledge is essential.
You will work alongside a full-time Houseman and the Head Housekeeper. Private household or hotel background preferred.
Core Responsibilities:
- To be responsible for upkeep and cleaning maintenance of the assigned area, including but not limited to pantries, washrooms, corridors, meeting rooms, communal areas as well as any necessary assistance within the office space
- To ensure all building floors are presentable as agreed with the client
- To ensure floor walks are carried out to maintain standards
- To ensure consumables levels are maintained in all areas of the office
- To support Workplace Experience Manager with events and any housekeeping tasks associated with it
- Comply with C&W policies, systems, and H&S requirements and ensure these are met during the shift
- Respond to requests within agreed timescales and procedures with the client and C&W
- Ensure all cleaning machinery is used in a safe working order
- Ensure all cleaning products as well as cleaning standards are maintained to highest standards
- Perform any ad hoc duties requested by the site manager or client
- Proactively report any maintenance issues within the building and escalate when needed
- Attend all assigned meetings and training sessions
- Be flexible to support Workplace Experience Manager with functions, events and other responsibilities
including outside of core working hours as required
