Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced
Paralegal
to join their in-house Legal & Compliance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse range of commercial, regulatory, and corporate matters, supporting the efficient delivery of legal services within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in contract management, compliance support, and stakeholder engagement, contributing to high-quality legal operations across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and manage a range of commercial contracts, NDAs, and supplier agreements.
  • Support governance, data protection, and regulatory compliance activities.
  • Manage document production, due diligence, and matter tracking through a legal instructions system.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather information and deliver clear, practical legal advice.
  • Assist with litigation, dispute resolution, and customer-facing queries, including liaison with external counsel.
  • Coordinate responses to regulatory or customer requests, ensuring compliance with deadlines.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of legal workflows, templates, and knowledge-sharing practices.
  • Undertake ad hoc compliance and administrative tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a
    Paralegal
    within an in-house legal team.
  • Strong understanding of commercial contracts and core business law principles.
  • LPC qualification (or equivalent).
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Confident in using legal and document management systems (e.g. contract databases, e-signing tools).
  • Pragmatic, solutions-focused approach with sound judgment balancing legal and commercial considerations.
  • Collaborative mindset with a commitment to teamwork and continuous improvement.
