, a leading global reinsurance and insurance provider, as a
Senior Syndicate Accountant
supporting their Lloyd's Syndicate operations and related legal entities.


What You'll Be Doing

  • Assist in the general ledger close for Syndicate and related entities under US GAAP and UK GAAP.
  • Process transactions (invoices, bank, inter-company) and post journals (manual and interfaced).
  • Strengthen controls over ledger balances and reconcile bank, technical, and balance sheet accounts.
  • Support the Managing Agency project and transition of reporting activities.
  • Liaise with IT, Underwriting, Claims, Credit Control, and Reinsurance teams to support change initiatives.
  • Implement XLPro interface for ceded results and assist with ad-hoc projects.
  • Engage in audits and provide documentation and analysis to internal/external auditors.
  • Collaborate with Finance teams (FP&A, tax, actuarial), Treasury, and Group head office.


What You'll Bring

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Lloyd's market, Xchanging, LCA processes, and regulatory reporting.
  • Experience with Oracle ERP (PeopleSoft a plus).
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with policy/claims systems.
