Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items while ensuring adherence to food safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, as well as food items, in accordance with established recipes and standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, including equipment and utensils.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
  • Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies.
  • Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance the overall customer experience.

Experience

  • Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; we are willing to train enthusiastic candidates.
  • Familiarity with food safety practices is highly desirable.
  • Skills in serving customers effectively and efficiently are crucial.
  • Basic math skills are required for handling transactions accurately.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £12.30 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
