Job Description

The Data Maintenance Associate researches, validates, documents, and prepares information to keep the organization and its management team current on industry trends and developments. This role supports Market Research Analysts and the Global Market Insights Manager, collaborating with cross-functional subject matter professionals to introduce best practices in reporting and market business analysis. The Associate also identifies tools and methodologies to standardize global deliverables and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Data Research, Maintenance & Reporting:

  • Compile statistical data and visuals for presentations, reports, and ad-hoc projects.

  • Perform data entry and conduct ongoing audits of data entered by regional teams.

  • Responsible for continuous market monitoring and maintaining the relevant database.

  • Ensure all documents, reports, and process materials are current, aligned with corporate strategy, and properly disseminated.

  • Meet or exceed published deadlines for all tasks.

  • Team Collaboration & Support:

  • Assist with internal cross-functional team reviews scheduling.

  • Support additional duties and special projects as assigned.

  • Work Management:

  • Assess task priority and urgency, anticipate potential bottlenecks, and proactively inform management to balance demands.

  • Travel:

  • This position requires less than 10% travel.

  • UK working hours 9am-5.30 pm with 1 hour lunch break.

  • Ability to conceptually grasp the functional and technical overview of all Guidewire Software products.

  • Effectively poses questions to gather the information necessary for task execution.

 

Qualifications

  • Degree preferred - Bachelor's in business, IT, mathematics, applied science, or a related field.

  • Advanced proficiency in Google software (Sheets, Docs, Slides, Vids, Gemini).

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English are essential.

  • Previous internships in the insurance or IT industry are a plus.

  • Experience in data mining, coding, statistical analysis, and unstructured information analysis is a plus.

  • Knowledge of , ThoughSpot, and HighSpot is a plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to embrace AI and apply it to your current role as well as data-driven insights to drive innovation, productivity, and continuous improvement.
