Now, we're looking for a visionary Director of Strategy to lead the strategic direction for The O2's thriving Premium and Retail operations. This is a high-profile role at one of the world's most iconic entertainment venues, shaping long term growth, enhancing customer experience, and driving commercial success.

The role in a nutshell.

  • Lead the strategy for Premium, Retail, and Conference & Event operations, aligned with Levy and AEG's objectives.
  • Identify new revenue streams, partnerships, and innovation opportunities.
  • Collaborate with commercial, operations, and marketing teams to optimise venue utilisation and retail performance.
  • Drive operational excellence through process improvements, technology adoption, and data driven KPIs.
  • Design and execute growth strategies to expand The O2's market share.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and act as a trusted advisor to the Executive Leadership Team.
  • Inspire and develop a high performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

What does great look like?

  • Proven experience in a strategic leadership role, ideally within events, hospitality, retail, or venue operations, however not essential.
  • Proven track record in commercial growth, operational transformation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and commercial acumen.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills at board level.
  • Passion for innovation, sustainability, and delivering legendary experiences.
