Matrix VR is the best VR experience centre in the West Midlands judging by customer reviews. Join our team of VR hosts and help clients experience the best that VR has to offer. Our staff are all young and vibrant, with no problem learning on the spot. We do not like following scripts so you have a creative freedom to show clients a good time in VR in a unique way. Being a zero-hour contract, we are quite flexible so you work when there's work and you are available making it a great opportunity to combine work with your studies/everyday life.

What we offer:

  • Full training provided (personal use of VR is not a requirement but is an advantage)

  • Contract type : zero hour contract - minimum 3 days a week availability required of which at minimum 2 weekdays.

Play VR games

Your responsibilities:

  • Punctuality and reliability are paramount - we are looking for candidates who live no more than 30 minutes from our location as sometimes sessions can be very short notice.
  • Provide excellent customer service from the start to the finish of the session.
  • Lead customer sessions - suggest games, help if customers get stuck in the games.
  • Ensure customers' safety while they are in the VR.
  • Make sure any specific requests are met and clients are happy with the experiences at all times.
  • Remind clients and give suggestions on new experiences they might want to try. Keep track of time to ensure sessions run to schedule.
  • Clean all the equipment to make sure everything is ready for the next clients on time.
  • Troubleshoot and make management aware of any technical failures.

The ideal candidate:

Successful candidates will have an enthusiasm for working closely with customers as well as an enthusiasm for gaming, technology, and VR (although you do not have to necessarily be a gamer for this role). Attention to detail, problem-solving and quick-thinking are very beneficial on this field. You do not need any previous experience with VR as all the necessary training is provided. Previous work experience within customer-interaction fields is a bonus. Most importantly, you will be committed towards providing the best experience possible for the customer within a group environment. PLEASE ALSO INCLUDE A COVER LETTER.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Up to £12.22 per hour
