Job Summary
We are seeking two Plant Fitters to join our existing team working from our Manchester depot. The ideal candidate will have experience working on Planers, Pavers, Rollers, JCBs and HGVs. You will be responsible for assembling and fitting components in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. You will be working from the workshop and also out on site if required. The ability to work weekends and overtime as and when required is an advantage.
Duties
- Undertake the correct and regular maintenance and calibration of all equipment in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations and health and safety requirements.
- Fit and assemble parts using hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure all fittings meet required standards.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the fitting process and propose solutions.
- Completion of annual maintenance and service schedule, and keep associated records
Skills
- Strong manual dexterity with experience in using various hand tools and machinery.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members.

Pay: £38,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
