About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Night Nurse (RGN/RMN) to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinically skilled nurse with strong leadership abilities to oversee night-time operations and ensure the highest standards of nursing and personal care are delivered to our residents.
As the Senior Nurse on duty, you will be responsible for managing a small team of care staff, ensuring clinical excellence, and maintaining a safe, supportive environment throughout the night.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the night care team to deliver person-centred care.
- Oversee and administer medication safely and effectively.
- Monitor residents' health, respond to changes in condition, and escalate concerns as needed.
- Maintain accurate care plans and clinical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards and home policies.
- Support, mentor, and motivate junior staff members.
- Provide a calm, reassuring presence to residents during night hours.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin.
- Previous experience working in a nursing home setting.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a small care team.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and decision-making skills.
- A caring, compassionate nature and commitment to high-quality care.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £22.00-£24.00 per hour
