About The Role

Position:HospitalityEvent Security - Liverpool

Hourly Rate: £13.10-£14.68* (*Hourly rate inclusive of holiday pay)

We are looking for customer service focused Door Supervisors who champion our values to work at high profile events in Liverpool.

You will be working in theatres, executive boxes/lounges within entertainment and stadia sectors, these events can attract media and public attention - the ideal candidate is well suited to these environments.

A valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence is required for this role.

Your main duties will include:
  • Greet and assist guests with courtesy, professionalism, and a customer-first approach.
  • Provide visible security presence while maintaining a friendly and approachable demeanour
  • Front and backstage/back-of-house entry search and guest list admittance.
  • Assess the suitability of guests and monitor behaviour in line with policies/legal requirements.
  • Ensuring the venue operates to a safe capacity and crowds are dispersed appropriately.
  • Patrolling the venue and undertaking occasional physical searches of guests.
  • Requiring guests to leave the venue and/or refusing entry to guests when behaviour/suitability is not in line with house-rules/policies. On occasions, this may require physical intervention.
  • Handle incidents discreetly and professionally, ensuring minimal disruption to guests.
  • Assist in emergency situations, including evacuations, first aid, or coordinating with emergency services.
  • Protection of assets.
  • Discreet security services.
  • Risk Mitigation.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, guest interactions, and daily security activities.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house, housekeeping, and management teams to enhance the overall guest experience.
Requirements:
  • SIA Door Supervision Licence.
  • Experience in the security industry (preferred).
About You:
  • Great customer service skills.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Pride in a smart appearance with impeccable personal presentation.
  • Ability to confidently de-escalate and resolve difficult conflict situations.
  • Keen eye for detail and the ability to stay vigilant to security risks.
During screening you must be able to provide evidence of 5 year employment.
