Working Pattern: 4 days per week
Salary: £70,000–£90,000 pro rata (DOE)
We're looking for a dynamic and commercially-minded senior leader to step into a 12-month maternity cover for our Head of Social. This is a part-time, 4-day-a-week contract, reporting directly into our leadership team and responsible for overseeing our Social and Influencer department.
You'll guide strategy, lead innovation, and maintain excellence in client delivery, all while managing and developing a high-performing team. Two experienced Social Account Directors will report directly into this role, and you'll collaborate closely with our strategy, creative and earned media teams to deliver culturally resonant campaigns.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS Leadership & Team DevelopmentLead and inspire the Social and Influencer team, nurturing a collaborative and high-performing environment
Line manage and support two Social Account Directors, offering strategic oversight and mentorship
Support talent development across the department, offering training, reviews and knowledge sharing
Support on team growth, advising on resource requirements and recruitment when needed
Play an active role in the Senior Leadership Team, helping to deliver against the agency's overall goals
Drive team culture, innovation, and efficient workflows across all live accounts
Act as senior client lead on key accounts, ensuring the social function is strategically aligned to business goals
Respond to briefs, develop social strategies and roll out best-in-class social campaigns
Integrate social strategy within wider 360 activations including PR, content and influencer
Ensure consistently high standards across delivery, reporting and performance
Champion culturally relevant, forward-thinking social and influencer work
Work with the senior leadership team to maintain and grow social revenue within the agency
Lead and contribute to new business responses, pitches, and proposal development
Shape social retainers, scopes, and costings, ensuring margin and value delivery
Identify opportunities to evolve services, drive efficiencies, and grow client relationships
A proven leader in social media and influencer marketing, with senior experience on major brand accounts
Commercially astute and confident in advising on team resourcing, and growth planning
A strong mentor and manager, able to nurture talent and foster creative thinking
An inspiring communicator and collaborator who brings energy and credibility to internal and external conversations
Passionate about culture, trends, and emerging platforms
Have 2+ years of experience in a Head of Social equivalent leadership role in an agency environment
Be commercially driven to help drive continued growth across the social and influencer departments
Be a problem-solver with a proactive and detail-oriented approach
Be a strong leader, one that is caring, motivating, accountable and leads by example
