Role Overview
EssilorLuxottica are on the lookout for a motivated and detail-oriented
HR Systems Intern
to join our Human Resources team supporting the Sunglass Hut, Ray-Ban, and Oakley estate. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HR systems, time & attendance processes, and general HR operations across multiple countries including the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Belgium, and Denmark.

You'll be based in our Ruddington, Nottingham office on a hybrid basis. This role is a 12-month fixed-term contract.

What You'll Bring To The Team

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a transferable degree (e.g., HR, Business, IT).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel - especially pivot tables, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks.
  • Understanding of HR principles and practices (preferred).
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support HR systems (SAP Time & Attendance) across multiple regions.
  • Assist with troubleshooting system queries and supporting time & attendance processes.
  • Help maintain accurate employee data and support joiner/mover/leaver processes.
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Operations, and Finance teams on system-related tasks.
  • Contribute to training materials and sessions for system users.
  • Assist with reporting and data analysis to support business decisions.
  • Work with international developers to ensure data compliance.
  • Support post-go-live system configurations and HR service invoice registration.
