The Role:
- Are you passionate about making a difference for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? Do you have the leadership skills to drive high standards and ensure inclusive practice across our provision?
- We are seeking an experienced and dynamic SEND Team Manager to lead our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity to shape services in Liverpool that support children and young people with SEND, ensuring they achieve the best possible outcomes
- Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the SEND team to deliver high-quality support and guidance
- Oversee statutory processes, including EHCP assessments and reviews
- Work collaboratively with schools, families, and external agencies
- Monitor compliance with SEND legislation and local authority policies
- Drive continuous improvement and champion inclusive education
About You
Proven experience in SEND leadership or management
- Strong knowledge of Children and Families Act 2014, SEND Regulations 2014, SEND Code of Practice 2015 and other relevant legislation
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion
