JIB Gold Card Electrician

Introduction:

Flowing Construction Services has an exciting opportunity to join our growing team as a JIB Gold Card Electrician. This role involves carrying out high-quality electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work across a range of domestic, commercial, and industrial projects within the North East and surrounding areas.

About the Role:

The successful candidate should possess and be able to demonstrate a combination of qualities including:

  • Valid JIB Gold Card (required)
  • Strong electrical installation and testing experience
  • Knowledge of current regulations, including the latest edition of BS 7671
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
  • Full, clean driving licence
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safe working practices
  • Good communication and problem-solving abilities

Key Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities of the role will include all aspects of electrical work, including:

  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components
  • Carrying out testing, inspection, and certification of electrical installations
  • Diagnosing faults and providing efficient solutions
  • Ensuring all work complies with relevant safety and industry standards
  • Liaising with site teams, clients, and other contractors as required
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation for each job
  • Supporting the wider operations team where necessary
