Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who are organised, reliable, and possess strong communication skills. A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel between sites. The position is paid and suitable for those eager to contribute to a professional and efficient cleaning service.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cleaning duties across designated areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and waste disposal
  • Ensure all surfaces and fixtures are hygienic and well-maintained according to company standards
  • Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
  • Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning tasks
  • Maintain a high level of organisation in storage areas for cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients to understand specific cleaning requirements
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Requirements

  • Proven experience in cleaning or related roles is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
  • Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driving licence is desirable for travel between multiple sites
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality
