Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Deputy Care Manager role located in Telford. The Deputy Care Manager will assist in overseeing client care plans, ensuring the highest quality of service delivery, and managing the day-to-day operations of care services. Responsibilities include managing casework, supporting Care Professionals, liaising with families and other professionals, conducting assessments, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. The role also involves training, mentoring, and guiding team members to uphold best practices in care provision.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Case Management and ability to manage individualized care plans and client needs.
  • Proficiency in Training and mentoring team members to follow quality standards and best practices.
  • Knowledge and experience in Elder Care and services tailored for senior individuals, ensuring dignity and respect.
  • Familiarity with Social Services and working collaboratively with relevant stakeholders to enhance outcomes.
  • Understanding of basic principles of Medicine and healthcare to support client needs effectively.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care or related fields (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or above or willing to work towards).
  • Previous management or supervisory experience in a care setting is preferred.
