Job Title: Junior Java Developer

Location: Remote

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, QA, DevOps) to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Write clean, efficient, and testable code following best practices.
  • Debug and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
  • Work with RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party systems as needed.
  • Assist in writing technical documentation and user guides.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 1–6 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
  • Solid understanding of OOP principles and design patterns.
  • Experience with Java 8 or later.
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as Spring / Spring Boot.
  • Knowledge of RESTful API design and integration.
  • Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £45,000.00-£80,000.00 per year
