Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Duty Manager to join our team in Harlow, United Kingdom. As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff members to maintain the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
- Supervise and coordinate daily operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company policies and procedures
- Lead, motivate, and mentor staff members to achieve performance goals and maintain a positive work environment
- Resolve customer complaints and address issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction
- Monitor and maintain health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with local regulations
- Create and adjust staff schedules to meet business demands and ensure adequate coverage
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to maintain quality standards
- Implement and oversee training programs for new and existing staff members
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall operational efficiency
- Prepare and submit reports on daily operations, incidents, and performance metrics
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory or management role, ideally in faced paced manufacturing environment
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team
- Strong problem-solving abilities and decisiveness in handling operational challenges
- Thorough knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with scheduling software
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
