A vibrant and inclusive primary school in Hackney are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their school from September. This is a full-time position starting in November 2025.
The Role
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting students across Key Stage 2 in a range of learning activities. You will focus on small group interventions to support children to make progress in literacy and numeracy. You will assist in planning and delivering tailored support, helping pupils to overcome barriers and achieve their learning goals.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Running targeted interventions and group sessions
- Supporting pupils during whole-class teaching
- Assisting with classroom organisation and resource preparation
- Working with class teachers and the SEN team to monitor progress
This is an ideal role for a Teaching Assistant with previous experience working in upper primary or with a strong interest in supporting pupils in core subjects.
