Your Role as an Experienced Biology Teacher

  • Deliver Inspiring Biology Lessons: Teach engaging and thought-provoking lessons to Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and potentially Key Stage 5 students, covering key topics such as genetics, ecology, human biology, and molecular biology.

  • Promote Practical and Experimental Learning: Plan and deliver hands-on experiments and investigations that allow students to apply theoretical knowledge and develop critical scientific skills.

  • Contribute to Curriculum Development: Work closely with colleagues in the department to continually refine and develop the biology curriculum, ensuring it challenges and engages our high-achieving students.

  • Support and Motivate Students: Use your experience and enthusiasm for biology to inspire students, helping them reach their full potential both academically and personally.

  • Lead Extra-Curricular Activities: Play an active role in supporting and leading biology-related clubs, science fairs, and field trips, offering students further opportunities to engage with the subject beyond the classroom.
