Quality Improvement & Patient Safety Advisor
to join our team during an exciting period of transformation, working to make it easier for the NHS to put patients first.
We are seeking a
Quality Improvement & Patient Safety Advisor
who will be responsible for ensuring robust oversight of clinical quality assurance, enabling data-driven decision-making to uphold patient safety standards and procurement excellence. Working within the central Clinical directorate but aligned to and supporting defined commercial categories and procurement frameworks, the role brings structure, clarity, and rigor to clinical quality intelligence gathering and due diligence, ensuring alignment with NHS Supply Chain's broader strategic objectives.

- Collate and analyse data using preset tools, methods, and formats.
- Explore and develop a basic understanding of external developments or emerging issues and contribute to the evaluation of their potential impact on, or usefulness to, the organisation.
- Produce, update, and provide best practice support on complex Microsoft documents, databases, and other departmental systems, advising colleagues as needed and using expertise to help identify and facilitate opportunities for process improvement, promoting best practice and enhancing operational quality and efficiency.
- Proactively engage and support stakeholders engagement by organising, meetings, actions, events, and materials that foster understanding, alignment, and commitment across clinical, commercial, and regulatory teams.

What skills will help you thrive in this role?
- Experience working with data collection and analysis.
- An adaptive mindset.
- Building strong cross functional relationships and communicating with impact.
- Knowledge of Patient Safety and Quality Improvement methodology.
- At least 1-3 years of previous experience in a similar role.
- Clinical registration with a registration body is desirable not essential.
