CHC Group Ltd is seeking a skilled Plumbing & Heating Engineer to deliver minor works/projects and responsive maintenance across commercial, education and public-sector facilities. You'll diagnose, plan and carry out works to a high standard, ensuring safety, compliance and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver
    Minor Works/Projects
     to scope, drawings.
  • Provide
    response/reactive maintenance
     and carry out fault finding as required.
  • Survey and itemise
     works on customer premises, producing accurate material/labour lists.
  • Complete installations, repairs and commissioning to
    CHC quality standards
     and statutory regulations.
  • Maintain clear
    job records
    , photos and certificates via our digital systems.
  • Work safely in line with
    CHC policies, risk assessments, method statements, permits
     and site rules.

Essential Criteria

  • NVQ 3
     in Plumbing & Heating / Mechanical Engineering Services
  • Full, clean driving licence.
  • Demonstrable
    commercial
     installation and maintenance experience.
  • Strong
    fault-finding
     and diagnostics across heating and hot-water systems.

Desirable Criteria

  • Gas Safe
     registered (domestic and/or commercial).
  • Experience on Measured Term Contracts / PPM frameworks.
  • OFTEC
     registered.
  • Valid
    CSR/CSCS
     card.
  • Competence with
    digital job management
     apps (photos, notes, certificates).

Hours & Working Pattern

  • Standard working week:
    37.5 hours
     (Mon–Thu full days;
    Fri half-day
    ).
