Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail team and oversee daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive sales, optimise merchandising strategies, and foster a positive shopping environment. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the store, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of organisation and efficiency

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Supervise daily store operations, including stock management, merchandising, and visual presentation.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to maximise revenue and optimise product placement.
  • Manage staff scheduling, training programmes, and performance appraisals to ensure a cohesive team environment.
  • Oversee administrative tasks such as inventory control, cash handling, and reporting.
  • Maintain excellent communication with staff and customers, ensuring phone etiquette is upheld at all times.
  • Analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Collect Donations 1 or 2 times a week.

Qualifications

  • Proven management experience within retail or sales environments, with demonstrated team management skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in merchandising, sales management, and administrative duties is preferred.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to supervise staff efficiently and foster a positive team culture.
  • Proficiency in time management and organisational tools to streamline operations.
  • Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential.
  • Experience in supervising staff, managing inventories, and implementing retail strategies will be considered advantageous. This role is ideal for a motivated individual eager to lead a retail team towards success while delivering excellent service in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Part-time, Volunteer

Pay: From £650.00 per week
