Adult Learning Manager - South Nottinghamshire

Hours: 37 Hours Per Week

Interview Date: 19th December 2025

Closing Date: 14th December 2025

Salary: Hay Band B (£39,152 - £44,074 FTE)

**Once you have submitted your application, please email with your name, vacancy title and application reference so that we can check that your application has been received**

Internal promotion opens up an educational management opportunity, joining Inspire's Adult Learning team as Adult Learning Coordinator for our programme in the south of Nottinghamshire.

The role-holder will manage, and be supported by, two lead tutors, and have specific responsibility for the planning and management of both accredited and tailored learning for adults in the districts of Broxtowe, Gedling and Rushcliffe.

Inspire would like to recruit a well-qualified, experienced, enthusiastic adult educator with a proven track-record of successfully managing a broad and responsive programme of community-based adult learning. The successful applicant will have expertise in meeting learner needs; supporting positive learner progression; managing, supporting and challenging colleagues to continuously improve; building positive and effective community and partner relationships to ensure a responsive and ambitious local offer.

Whilst the specific responsibility of the role is in the south of the county, this postholder works closely with other colleagues to deliver aspects of the programme across the county, and so travel will be necessary across Nottinghamshire. Candidates will therefore, ideally, have a current driving licence and access to a vehicle.

We are actively championing inclusion and diversity in both our service offer and our employment: we particularly welcome your application if you are black, Asian or from a minority ethnic group, as you are currently under-represented at this level in our organisation.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults and we expect all staff to share this commitment and undergo appropriate checks. As such, this post will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
