QUALIFIED NURSERY STAFF REQUIRED - FULL OR PART TIME

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Nursery Staff member to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in early childhood education and childcare, with the ability to manage and lead a team of nursery assistants.

This role offers an opportunity to work in a nurturing environment, supporting children's development and ensuring their safety and well-being. Applicants should have relevant nursery experience, excellent communication skills, and a passion for working with children. A minimum Level 2 childcare qualification IS A MUST.

The setting is open Monday to Friday, from 7.30am until 6pm. You can work from 1 full day per week, to 5 days with shorter shifts. We have a couple of options available BUT NOT TERM TIME ONLY or SCHOOL HOURS.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a safe and stimulating environment for children
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development
  • Maintain effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and legal requirements
  • Work within a small, close knit team, ensuring the environment is warm, happy and supportive

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working within a nursery or early childhood education setting
  • Experience with children and childcare principles
  • Knowledge of nursery regulations, safeguarding policies, and health & safety standards
  • Childcare qualification that is full and relevant, Level 2 is a minimum
  • Ability to organise tasks efficiently whilst maintaining a caring approach
