Opportunity Overview
As a Junior Software Engineer, you will contribute to develop and maintain the full software stack supporting our hardware and systems, from PXIe modules to stand-alone signal integrity test instruments. Working closely with hardware, automation and test engineers, you will contribute to design, implement and optimise software that ensures performance, reliability and a seamless user experience across our product range.
Implement, test, debug, and document software for products, including PXIe modules and stand-alone signal integrity instruments.Collaborate with team members to design, develop, and maintain software solutions.Apply and advocate software engineering best practices, including participating in code reviews, implementing unit and automated testing, using version control, and secure coding standards.Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code; assist with debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving software defects.Support continuous improvement of processes, tools, and workflows, and actively share knowledge across the team.All About You

Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or related fieldProficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C#, C++, C, .NET, etc).Basic understanding of software development principles and lifecycle.Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Effective communication and teamwork abilities.Willingness to learn and take direction from more experienced developers.**We are only considering candidates local to position location and are unable to provide relocation for this position.
