Solar PV Installer

Introduction:

We have an exciting opportunity to join our growing business as a Solar PV Installer. This role supports the continued expansion of our renewable energy services, working on a wide range of commercial and domestic installations across the North East and Yorkshire.

You'll play a key part in delivering high-quality solar PV systems, helping customers reduce energy costs and transition towards more sustainable solutions.

About the Role:

The successful candidate should possess and be able to demonstrate a combination of qualities, including:

· Experience installing solar PV systems (required)

· Knowledge of AC and DC electrical systems

· Ability to work safely at height

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

· Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team

· Excellent communication and customer-facing skills

· Full UK driving licence

· Electrical qualifications (e.g. 18th Edition) preferred but not essential

Key Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities of the role will include all aspects of solar PV installation, including:

· Installing solar PV systems on commercial and domestic properties

· Carrying out system testing, commissioning, and fault-finding

· Assisting with roof mounting systems and cable routing

· Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with industry standards

· Completing documentation, handover packs, and system reports

· Liaising with clients, site teams, and office staff to ensure smooth project delivery

· Maintaining tools, equipment, and a safe working environment
