Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our compassionate team at Invercare . This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality home care services that enhance the lives of our clients. You will play an essential part in supporting individuals with various needs, ensuring they receive the dignity and respect they deserve.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to clients in their homes
  • Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation and medication administration
  • Foster a supportive and respectful environment that promotes independence

  • Qualifications
  • Proven experience in assisted living or home care settings
  • Strong understanding of patient care practices, including dementia and Alzheimer's support
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients
  • Certification in first aid is preferred but not mandatory
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary
  • Compassionate nature with a commitment to enhancing client well-being
  • Flexibility to adapt to varying client needs and schedules.

About the Role:

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team at Invercare You'll be supporting individuals to live independently, achieve their personal goals, and make the most of everyday life.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centred care and support tailored to each individual person's needs.
  • Assist with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
  • Encourage independence, confidence, and social inclusion.
  • Support with medication and health appointments (where required).
  • Maintain accurate records and work collaboratively with families, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliable and flexible with a caring attitude.
  • Experience in care or support work is beneficial but not essential — full training will be provided.
  • Some shifts and services include sleep overs, waken nights, and shifts on weekdays and weekends.
