An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Year 3 Class Teacher to join a friendly, two-form entry primary school in the SN3 area of Swindon. The Role

As the reception teacher, you will take responsibility for a delightful class of enthusiastic and engaged learners. You'll plan and deliver inspiring lessons that bring the curriculum to life, support each child's progress, and contribute to the school's warm, community-centred ethos.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering creative, high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners
     
  • Creating a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment
     
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
     
  • Assessing, recording, and reporting on pupil progress
     
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
     
  • Upholding safeguarding, health & safety, and all school policies

We're seeking a motivated and caring teacher who brings energy, creativity, and commitment to their teaching. You'll have a nurturing approach and a passion for helping children grow both academically and personally.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
     
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (Year 3 experience desirable)
     
  • A creative and adaptable approach to teaching
     
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
     
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
