N-compass is Hiring – Carers Information & Support Officer
Location: Bury | Contract: Fixed term until 31st March 2026 | Salary: £25,000 per annum
Are you passionate about supporting people who care for others?
We're urgently looking for a Carers Information & Support Officer to join our friendly, dedicated Bury Carers Team.
This is your chance to make a real difference. You'll help unpaid Carers access vital information, guidance, and opportunities that improve their wellbeing and quality of life.
What You'll Do
- Identify and support Carers across Bury.
- Offer tailored 1:1 support, advice, and guidance.
- Connect Carers with local services, groups, and short breaks.
- Build strong partnerships with other organisations.
- Keep accurate, high-quality records and reports.
What We're Looking For
- Experience supporting people to access information or services.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Ability to manage a busy caseload with care and precision.
- A team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to travel across Bury (own car required).
- Fluency in Urdu or Punjabi is highly desirable.
(Experience with Carers, the voluntary sector, or knowledge of Carers' rights is a plus, but not essential.)
