Tire Technician Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in the use of hand and power tools. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment where heavy lifting is required, ensuring that all tyre-related services are performed to the highest standards. Must be able to work on there own and get things done also the working place kept to a high standard of care cleanliness' and maintenance

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, repair, and replace tyres on various vehicles, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. on all tyres
  • Operate hand tools and power tools effectively to perform tyre installations and repairs.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist customers with tyre selection and provide recommendations based on their needs.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations while performing tasks.
  • keeping all aspects of the workshop clean maintained at all times
  • Stock rotation stock checks first saturday of the month after closing will make up time in week

Experience

  • Previous experience as a Tire Technician or in a similar mechanical role is preferred and is essential.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot common issues related to tyres.
  • Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in tyre servicing.
  • Capability to perform heavy lifting as required during tyre installations and repairs.

Pay: From £15,238.00 per year
