About the Role

We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic sales support team. Working closely with our field-based Account Managers, you'll play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service and driving sales growth across our established client base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively contact existing customers by phone to take regular orders.
  • Promote and sell new product ranges, seasonal launches, and special promotions to our customers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and contact databases.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and timely support to clients and colleagues alike.
  • Set up new customer accounts to company standards.
  • Handle written correspondence such as welcome letters, order confirmations, and email enquiries.
  • Collaborate with Field Sales to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Process incoming customer orders received by phone or email efficiently and accurately.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a sales or customer service role — this could be from retail, estate agency, or any similar environment.
  • A passion for sales and achieving targets, with a genuine enjoyment of interacting with customers.
  • Strong product knowledge skills — able to retain information and understand key features and benefits across a large product range.
  • Confident IT skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and general internet use.
  • A proactive, assertive attitude with a focus on delivering results and great service.
  • A positive team player who contributes to the success of a small, close-knit team.
