Northern Building Plastics are recruiting an experienced full time, permanent multi drop delivery driver.

About the role:

As a driver at NBP, your daily duties will include:

  • Safely operate a 3.5t delivery (extra-long wheelbase) vehicle to transport goods to various locations.
  • Perform multi-drop deliveries while ensuring timely and accurate service to customers.
  • Assist in warehouse operations, as required.
  • Maintain communication with the depot to coordinate delivery schedules.
  • Adhere to all driving regulations and company policies to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or issues.
  • Working hours are Mon-Fri 07:30 to 16:30 with 1 in 4 Saturday Rota paid as overtime). Additional overtime may sometimes be available.

About you

You must hold a full UK Driving License (maximum of 6 penalty points), with experience of driving long wheel based vehicles. Be computer literate and have a good command of written and spoken English.

You will also have excellent customer service skills, calm under pressure and hold yourself to high standards of driving.
