Salary: £12.21 per hour

This role is offered on a Zero-Hour Contract for Cover Only.

This means that:

  • Weekly hours are not guaranteed.
  • Shifts will be offered only when cover is required, such as staff absence or increased demand.

Working Pattern (When Cover Is Required):

Cover may typically be requested during the following times:

Monday to Friday:

  • 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM (rate £12.21 per hour)

Weekends:

  • 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM (rate £13.36 per hour)
  • 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM (rate £13.36 per hour)

Actual shift length may vary depending on the cover required.

Job Summary:

As a Cleaner, you will have the all-important duty of enhancing our clients' spaces. You'll be part of a friendly team working together to create outstandingly clean and safe environments that make our clients happy.

You will manage and complete various cleaning tasks safely and effectively, promptly reporting any issues and safety hazards. Your safety is critical to us, so we will ensure you know our latest policies and provide the necessary training to perform your role.

Key duties and responsibilities:

Responsible to the Team Leader.

As a Cleaning operative, you will be expected to:

  • Provide cleaning services within our clients' sites, ensuring high-quality service provision and excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Complete cleaning tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, dusting, emptying bins, cleaning washrooms, and other duties.
  • Ensure good working relationships with work and site employees.
  • Keep up-to-date with good working practices, products, and techniques to ensure and maintain knowledge.
  • Commit to equality and diversity and to promote non-discriminatory practices in all aspects of work undertaken.
  • Comply with current Health and Safety Legislation.

To be successful in the cleaning operative role, the skills you will need:

  • Self-motivation, flexibility, and enthusiasm.
  • Organisational skills.
  • Awareness of relevant Health and safety practices and procedures.
